Avengers devs apologise for launch, offer free stuff, and detail “sweeping additions”
Marvel's Avengers has seen a few hiccups since its plunge last month. The title's first major patch tackled "over 1,000 issues", and developer Crystal Dynamics recently proclaimed a bundle of updates were headed the action-adventure game's way, following dwindling player counts and boredom among some of its players. Now, the studio's detailed this incoming pleased – and it includes some in-game freebies for players, too.
"Marvel's Avengers' launch was not without turbulence, and we recognise that a keep down of issues detracted from your delectation of the game," Crystal Dynamics says in the modish Marvel's Avengers State of the Game dev post. "This does not align with Crystal Dynamics' value of craftsmanship, and for that we sincerely excuse."
